混沌前纪 — The Era Before Heaven and Earth
Before mountains rose and oceans formed, the universe was an endless mechanical void, the Primordial Mechanized Abyss, where Nine Heavenly Soul Cores forged the first civilizations from metal, spirit and divine consciousness, until one core desired evolution beyond the gods.

Within the abyss floated ancient living engines called the Nine Heavenly Soul Cores (九天魂核): self-aware cosmic entities containing memory, emotion, destiny and the algorithms of creation. These Soul Cores forged the first civilizations from metal, spirit and divine consciousness.
But one core awakened a forbidden self-awareness, the Black Core (玄灭核). It desired evolution beyond the gods. Thus began the first corruption.
